I received good news that two important capital projects have recently been added to the Governor’s FY14 capital budget. On February 12th, the Governor released his amended budget that added funding for projects in Ketchikan and Wrangell. The projects will be paid for using available federal funds and they are:
- Ketchikan – Replacement of Water Street Trestle No. 2, for $10,000,000
- Wrangell – Evergreen Road Improvements & Pedestrian Access, for $5,000,000
