Members of the conference committee, tasked with negotiating the differences between the Senate’s versions of the state, operating, and mental health budgets and those budgets passed by the House back in April, reached a tentative agreement on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. The negotiated budget deal was still subject to a vote by the House and Senate before it would be sent to the Governor.
