I am pleased to welcome Trevor Fulton and Penny Gage as new members of my staff this week.  Both are life-long Alaskans and bring a strong professional background to serving Southeast Alaska.

Trevor recently worked for the Alaska Department of Natural Resources and has several years of prior experience working in the Alaska State Legislature focusing on natural resources and energy policy issues.  Trevor will serve as my Resources Committee Aide and will monitor all issues relating to timber, mining, fisheries, oil and gas.

Penny is from Sitka and recently served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Nicaragua.  She has also worked for the Rasmuson Foundation and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service in Washington, D.C.  Penny will assist me with community and constituent relations, public communications and research.

It’s important to have good people working on behalf of Southeast in the Capitol, and Trevor and Penny’s experience will make a great addition to the office.
