{"id":4498,"date":"2017-10-23T14:04:48","date_gmt":"2017-10-23T22:04:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/?p=4498"},"modified":"2018-01-08T11:05:53","modified_gmt":"2018-01-08T20:05:53","slug":"alaska-federation-of-natives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/?p=4498","title":{"rendered":"Alaska Federation of Natives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) held their annual convention in Anchorage, Alaska and I had the privilege of attending this year\u2019s event. AFN is always a great time because I get to see old friends, enjoying the variety of art work, and hear the issues being addressed from across this great state.<\/p>\n<p>There were some official legislative duties we did participate in this year. A group of rural legislators were available to answer questions from the delegates in attendance.
