The grand opening was held on May 23, 2016 at Icy Strait Point.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4255\" src=\"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/IMG_2055-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2055\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/IMG_2055-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/IMG_2055-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 2012 when both former Representative Bill Thomas and I were co-chairs of the House and Senate Finance Committees \u2013 we were able to appropriate $17 million into this project to make it a reality.
