{"id":22,"date":"2010-01-19T14:00:58","date_gmt":"2010-01-19T23:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/?p=22"},"modified":"2010-11-17T16:19:45","modified_gmt":"2010-11-18T01:19:45","slug":"budget-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/?p=22","title":{"rendered":"Legislature Convenes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The second session of the <a href=\"http:\/\/w3.legis.state.ak.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">26th Alaska Legislature<\/a> convened in Juneau today.<\/p>\n<p>This session I will continue as Co-Chairman of the Finance Committee. In that role, I serve as one of five members of the Senate leadership. I will be focused on instituting sound fiscal policies and on ensuring the State&#8217;s financial resources are properly managed.
