{"id":2077,"date":"2012-03-15T10:28:01","date_gmt":"2012-03-15T18:28:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/?p=2077"},"modified":"2012-03-16T13:26:28","modified_gmt":"2012-03-16T21:26:28","slug":"southeast-conference-mid-session-summit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/?p=2077","title":{"rendered":"Southeast Conference Mid-Session Summit"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 306px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IMG_0080.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IMG_0080-296x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"296\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Addressing the Southeast Conference at their Legislative Panel<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seconference.org\/home\" target=\"_blank\">Southeast Conference<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seconference.org\/midsession\" target=\"_blank\">Mid-Session Summit<\/a>\u00a0is being held this week in Juneau.\u00a0 Southeast Conference\u00a0was formed in 1958 as an association of communities joined to advocate for the establishment of the Alaska Marine Highway System.\u00a0 Since its inception, Southeast Conference\u00a0has expanded both its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seconference.org\/directory\" target=\"_blank\">membership base<\/a> and its overall mission.\u00a0 Today,\u00a0Southeast Conference\u00a0is a regional, nonprofit corporation that advances the collective interests of the people, communities, and businesses in Southeast Alaska.<\/p>\n<p>Southeast Conference\u00a0is the State-designated Alaska Regional Development Organization, and the federally-designated Economic Development District, for Southeast Alaska.
