{"id":1711,"date":"2012-01-17T10:53:04","date_gmt":"2012-01-17T19:53:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/?p=1711"},"modified":"2012-03-12T18:07:29","modified_gmt":"2012-03-13T02:07:29","slug":"two-new-staff-additions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/bertstedman.com\/new\/?p=1711","title":{"rendered":"New Staff Additions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I am pleased to welcome Trevor Fulton and Penny Gage as new members of my staff this week.\u00a0 Both are life-long Alaskans and bring a strong professional background to serving Southeast Alaska.<\/p>\n<p>Trevor recently worked for the Alaska Department of Natural Resources and has several years of prior experience working in the Alaska State Legislature focusing on natural resources and energy policy issues.\u00a0 Trevor will serve as my Resources Committee Aide and will monitor all issues relating to timber, mining, fisheries, oil and gas.<\/p>\n<p>Penny is from Sitka and recently served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Nicaragua.\u00a0 She has also worked for the Rasmuson Foundation and U.S. Fish &amp; Wildlife Service in Washington, D.C.\u00a0 Penny will assist me with community and constituent relations, public communications and research.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s important to have good people working on behalf of Southeast in the Capitol, and Trevor and Penny\u2019s experience will make a great addition to the office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am pleased to welcome Trevor Fulton and Penny Gage as new members of my staff this week.\u00a0 Both are life-long Alaskans and bring a strong professional background to serving Southeast Alaska.
